I looked at instructions for CPanel.
In my case, it does not help finding how to get rid of the name: "http://owlpestcontrol.bmobilized.com/"
and replace it with "m.owlpestcontrol.ie"
Any link to a forum that explain this? Thanks

First, on your bMobilized Dashboard, hit Custom Domain and set "m.owlpestcontrol.ie".

Next, login to your CPanel, and surf to:
CPanel > Domain Management > DNS Zone Editor > Select Domain

Host Record: m
Type: CNAME
Points to: cloudhostedresources.com
Hit "Add Record"

That should do it, for setting your Custom Domain.

Next, get your redirection script from your bMobilized Dashboard, making sure that "var mobile_domain" is set to "m.owlpestcontrol.ie" and paste the script into the top of the <head> section in your desktop site's template, or pages.

You can use the instructions above for more help if needed.

{First, on your bMobilized Dashboard, hit Custom Domain and set "m.owlpestcontrol.ie".}

I did that a year ago already. This is the information I read from my Dashboard - owlpestcontrol:
Custom Domain
1. Custom Domains can be tricky. Get Instructions on how to do this
2. m.owlpestcontrol.ie
3. Add a CNAME record with M as host pointing to owlpestcontrol.bmobilized.com
Mobile Website: m.owlpestcontrol.ie

{Next, login to your CPanel, and surf to:
CPanel > Domain Management > DNS Zone Editor > Select Domain
Host Record: m
Type: CNAME
Points to: cloudhostedresources.com
Hit "Add Record"}

I did this last weekend. I can provide screenshots if you have an email address. Now in my list of "User-Defined Records" I have this:
NAME: m.owlpestcontrol.ie.
TYPE: CNAME
RECORD: cloudhostedresources.com

(PS: altough you advised to point to: cloudhostedresources.com
, my dashboard advises to point to: owlpestcontrol.bmobilized.com
)

{Next, get your redirection script from your bMobilized Dashboard, making sure that "var mobile_domain" is set to "m.owlpestcontrol.ie" and paste the script into the top of the <head> section in your desktop site's template, or pages.}

I tried the script provided by my Dashboard ("Go Live" & "Redirect"):
<script type="text/javascript">
var ipad = true; // Set to false to not redirect on iPad.
var other_tablets = true; // Set to false to not redirect on other tablets.
var mobile_domain = 'm.owlpestcontrol.ie';
document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + location.protocol + "//s3.amazonaws.com/me.static/js/me.redirect.min.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));
</script>
but this script does not work.

On another hand the old script currently works but I get the long URL with "bmobilized" in it:

<script type="text/javascript">
var mobile_domain ="owlpestcontrol.bmobilized.com";
// Set to false to not redirect on iPad.
var ipad = true;
// Set to false to not redirect on other tablets (Android , BlackBerry, WebOS tablets).
var other_tablets = true;
document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='"+location.protocol+"//s3.amazonaws.com/me.static/js/me.redirect.min.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E"));
</script>

Any idea what is going wrong?
Thanks

Hello Chris,

My name is Adam of bMobilized support. When reviewing your setup. It does not seem the CNAME alias was setup for m.owlpestcontrol.ie. Also the redirection script on the main site is currently referring to owlpestcontrol.bmobilized.com. In you email you mentioned using cPanel to effect these update. Please review the instructions below on CNAME setup via a cPanel portal.

Custom Domain (cPanel):

1. Login to your cPanel.
2. Scroll down to the domains section.
3. Click DNS Zone Editor
4. Under 'Add DNS Record' enter the following information in:
Host Record: m
TTL: 14400
Type: CNAME
*Points To: owlpestcontrol.cloudhostedresources.com
5. Click Add Record.

*please note owlpestcontrol.bmobilized.com is the same as owlpestcontrol.cloudhostedresources.com.

Custom Domain (bMobilized):

1. Login to your bMobilized Dashboard.
2. Click on the 'Settings' link.
3. Select the 'Custom Domain’ option.
4. Insert the custom domain in the text area. (in section 2)

After these setup is complete. You will need to update the redirection code on the main site.

Hello,

I need your hep with the redirection of my page.

My web page in youtravelagency.com.

We put the redirection code to a test web page, but its not working... We do this beacuse we need to test first before to go live in our page...

Our test webpage is:
http://69.89.239.35/YouTravel/Pagina/Presentacion/index.aspx

Could you please check if the redirection code is correct and why is not working.

Thanks a lot

Karin

Hi Karin, embedding the redirection code on an alternate URL would not work. If you mobilized youtravelagency.com. This is considered the root domain. Meaning the redirection code would only work for this URL and any corresponding sub-pages. I would recommend inserting the code under any sub-page within this domain.
